1. Back Up Your Current Theme
Go to Blogger Dashboard → Theme, open the drop-down menu beside Customize, select Backup and download a copy of your current theme.

2. Install the XML Template
Copy the complete XML code. In Blogger, go to Theme, open the menu beside Customize and select Edit HTML. Replace the existing theme code with the new XML code and click Save.

3. Use the Desktop Theme on Mobile
Go to Theme → Mobile settings, change the setting from Mobile to Desktop and save. This allows the template's responsive design to control the mobile layout instead of Blogger's separate mobile theme.

4. Configure the Layout
Open Blogger Dashboard → Layout and configure the available navigation menus, featured sections, Blogger labels, sidebar widgets, social profiles, footer content and other template-specific widgets.

5. Customize Colors & Branding
Open Theme → Customize to change supported colors, fonts and other visual settings. Depending on the template, additional design settings may be available directly in the theme code.
Customisation
Most BloggerTheme9 templates are designed so common settings can be managed through Blogger's Layout and Theme sections without repeatedly editing the template code.

How do I install a Blogger XML template?
Back up your existing theme, extract the downloaded package and open the template XML file in a plain-text editor. Copy the complete XML code, then go to Blogger Dashboard → Theme → Edit HTML, replace the existing code and save.
Why should I change Blogger Mobile settings to Desktop?
Responsive Blogger templates are designed to manage their own mobile layout. Setting Theme → Mobile settings to Desktop prevents Blogger's separate mobile theme from replacing the responsive template on mobile devices.
Will installing a new Blogger template delete my posts?
Replacing the theme changes the website design rather than deleting your published Blogger posts. However, some widget content and custom theme settings may change, so always back up your existing theme and save important custom code or widget content before installation.
Can I customize BloggerTheme9 templates?
Yes. Depending on the template, you can customize supported colors, fonts, menus, homepage sections, Blogger labels, widgets, social links and branding through Blogger's Theme and Layout sections. Advanced changes can also be made in the template HTML.
